Marianas Cup Beach Volleyball Festival will take place this year at Fiesta Resort & Spa Feb 24-26th! Presently, we are anticipating pro, semi-pro and national players from the U.S., Japan, Guam and Oceania. Our estimated prize purse is US$10,000 cash and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the ProAm tournament winners. This is an FIVB sanctioned event. We have expanded this year…AGAIN! Every year it just gets better and better with all the volleyball you could ask for! This year’s Festival will include three weekends of back-to-back beach volleyball excitement with six (6) events and two islands! NEW THIS YEAR is the addition of the Pro Exhibition and Marianas Juniors Cup in Guam, uniting us with our friends in the south. Adding this event will facilitate youth development by providing the next steps of competition for our growing youth volleyball enthusiasts. As with last year, during the week that the Pros are here, they will spend one day visiting a couple of the schools and then generously give a 2-hour FREE clinic at Fiesta Resort & Spa on February 22nd. And, of course, we are continuing the tradition of bringing U.S. and Japanese professional players along with returning 2011 champs from Japan. We also anticipate that a number of Oceania countries intend to send national teams players to participate. Title sponsors Marianas Visitor’s Authority (MVA) and Fiesta Resort & Spa humbly request your support. NMIVA, MVA and Fiesta Resort & Spa are so grateful for the community support this event has received over the past 19-years. Click here to see a copy of our 2012 sponsorship information kit which also shows the varying levels of sponsorship packages (page 11) that will help make this event possible. All sponsors will receive exposure via NMIVA’s website www.nmivolleyball.org. Additional exposure will be achieved via Asian Volleyball Confederation, Oceania Zonal Volleyball Federation and FIVB websites. The 2011 Marianas Cup Pro-Am will be shown KSPN Channel 2 and The Visitor’s Channel 3 the week leading up to the 2012 event,. As with last year, we are also expecting full coverage by Beach Volleyball Style Magazine, Asian Volleyball Magazine, Beach Volleyball Magazine (Japan) and Hafa Adai Beach Magazine (Saipan). Ultimately, the 2012 event will show on KSPN Channel 2 and The Visitor’s Channel. | Would your company consider sponsoring with a cash contribution and/or in-kind prizes for this year’s event? Without our sponsors, we would not have the opportunity to put on fun and extraordinary events! Your cash donations help us with costs for producing the events, such as bring in the Pro athletes. Cash and in-kind prizes for ProAm tournament winners attract players from all over the world. In addition, your in-kind donations help with our famous $1 raffle where spectators have the opportunity to win prizes while watching games. This is NMIVA’s only fundraiser each year. All proceeds are used to facilitate youth development programs and equipment purchases. Please contact Shelly Scott if you wish to help sponsor this year’s event.
