2015 Competitions & Divisions

Marianas Pro Am Open- 2015 Event to be held Ypao Beach Park, Tamuning, Guam

  • February 28 & March 1, 2015
  • Men's & Women's Doubles
  • The Pro Am Open combines the talents of professional beach volleyball players and the enthusiasm of dedicated amateurs. This event draws professionals from all over the world.
  • All Professional and/or National Team ability level players are requested to participate in the raffle drawing allowing amateur players an opportunity to play with a "Pro" (exemptions are available and will be considered on a case by case basis determined by playing history
  • Professional and/or National Teams players cannot enter the Open with their partner or another person of the same ability level (exemptions are available and will be considered on a case by case basis determined by playing history)
  • The OPTIONAL privilege of playing with a "Pro" is earned by raffle ticket at an additional cost
  • Must be 18 years old or have parent/guardian permission to participate
  • One day pool play
  • One day 16-team double elimination
  • Standard FIVB 2-person beach volleyball rules apply

Marianas Junior Cup - 2015 Event to be held at Fiesta Resort & Spa Beach, Garapan, Saipan

  • March 7 & 8, 2015
  • Men's & Women's Doubles
  • 19U Event
  • One day pool play
  • One day double elimination
  • Standard FIVB 2-person beach volleyball rules apply

Marianas Kids Cup - 2015 Event to be held at Saipan and Guam locations respectively

  • UPDATE: SUNDAY, March 15, 2015 (Guam & Saipan)
  • 4-person Co-Ed
  • 17U and 13U Divisions
  • Half day pool play (morning)
  • Maximum five (5) players per team 
  • One opposite gender on the court at all times 
  • Generally, standard FIVB 2-person beach volleyball rules apply with the following reward program 
    • The reward program provides a team that scores a point with an extra point if they display the proper volleyball skills of bump, handset and overhead kill 
    • In the 13U division kids attempting over hand services get a second chance if they do not make it. 
    • All players must serve and the serve MUST rotate

NOTE: This is a fundraiser and all proceeds after expenses go to the hosting federation (NMI or Guam) respectively.
