KIDS Grass Reverse Co-Ed 2010

Saturday, February 6th brings a special treat for volleyball enthusiasts ages 14-17 as they will be competing in the first ever, grass reverse co-ed tournament ever held for this age group. One male and one female player will team up to play 2 on 2 on the grass. Boys will not be able to hit in front of the 10-foot line.

Veteran player and coach, Ms. Mili Saiki teamed up with Island Volleyball Club's JR Gechig to coordinate and organize this tournament. Gechig participated in the adult's only version of this tournament in December 2009. He had so much fun that he wanted to make sure that his friends and other younger players get the chance to experience the same adventure. So, he asked Saiki and a few others for help organizing this first ever event --- GO JR, GO! NMIVA is behind you all the way!

If you have students or children (or you are in this age group) who want to sign up and play, registration will start at 8am. Games will begin at 9am. This event will take place at the Navy Hill sports field near Whispering Palms School. For more details, please visit our link here.
