NMIVA volunteer, Coach Nick Gross, will begin offering fitness trainings next week for those wishing to earn additional points toward the CNMI Beach Volleyball National Teams qualification process. Trainings will be held Tuesdays and Thursday mornings starting on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 and continue through the end of March.
"Anyone who is interested in training with me needs to be at Marianas High School gym at 5:45am sharp. We will complete a full workout and finish at 7am. We will start out with twice a week and possibly move to three days a week in March," said Gross.
Coach Gross will keep an attendance sheet and those participating may be asked to sign a liability waiver. The attendance records will be reported to the NMIVA Board and kept with all of the other participation records.
NMIVA thanks Mr. Gross for volunteering his time and energy. We additional thank Mr. Feger and the Safe Haven Program, Marianas High School Principal Craig Garrison and the CNMI Public School System for providing the facilities.
The schedule for drills practices will be published shortly. We thank you for your patience!
