Reverse Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament Rules

 Teams:          Co-Ed, you bring your own partner (*under 18 must have parent/guardian permission; see Registration/Waiver form)

 Format:        Pool Play and Double Elimination       

·        25 teams max entry, pool-play format in the morning

·        Top 16 teams advance to the double-elimination field in the afternoon

·        Scoring

o   Pool Play games to 11 (Cap 15)

o   Semi-finals and finals games to 15 (Cap 21)

Depending on the number of teams entered, Directors reserve the right to adjust game scoring in order to finish all the games that need to be played on 3-courts.

·        Serve must rotate

o   Men cannot jump serve

·        Net is set at ladies height

o   Men cannot block

o   Men cannot hit from inside the 10-foot line

o   Leaving the ground behind the 10-foot line and landing inside the 10-foot line is okay

Your Entry Fee: 

  • Your entry gets you a sweet tourney t-shirt, at least 4 games in pool play, complimentary refreshments and great cameraderie.
  • Any proceeds after tournament expenses goes to NMIVA's youth develoment fund
  • A big thank you to Triple J Super Fresh Market and Pacific Trading, who have graciously donated water, bananas, Gatorade and beer.  And to Millie and her SIS students who will be serving up their famous breakfast burritos.
