Congratulations to the 17 participants who completed the one day NMIVA-hosted FREE referee clinic held on January 16, 2010 at the MHS gym! This course was provided to anyone who wanted to learn more about refereeing volleyball and was made available for free courtesy of NMIVA and SafeHaven.
Participants completed a total of 8-hours of participation, which included equal time in lecture and reviewing video clips as well pratical time at the volleyball court learning, sharing and practicing various refereeing skills.
Each participant received:
> FIVB's 2009 Refereeing Guidelines and Instructions
> FIVB's Rules of the Game; Official Volleyball Rules 2009-2012
> FIVB's Volleyball Official Hand Signals Chart
> NMIVA Certificate of Completion
> Free entry into FIVB's VCP Referee Course (TBA)
> A brand new, official Referee's Whistle
